V Family {Viera Family Photographer}

I was so excited when this momma asked me to take her family’s pictures. We were neighbors and BFFs when we were 8 years old! So great to see the lovely family she has now. Her marriage is the sweetest and her kids are hilarious. I think that’s pretty clear in these pictures! I wanted to capture this family exactly as they are, and I think that mission was accomplished!! She has gone through a lot in this past year and I am so so happy that I was able to be a part of these priceless memories!ValenteCollage01 ValenteCollage02

T Family at Cocoa Beach {Viera Family Photographer}

I absolutely loved this beach session. What’s not to love?? Gorgeous family, beautiful sunlight, and some of the most cooperative kids ever. I mean, you know you’ve hit the jackpot when it’s the kids at the session telling you, “Can you take one of me with my baby brother? Can we take another one?” It was so much fun. Lots to share, so I’ll stop blabbing. 🙂

Q Family {Cocoa Beach Family Photographer}

When I had my own family photoshoot back in March, I stressed about how to dress all 6 people in my family. This mom had to dress 9. And she rocked it!

Quick story about this family. Right after I had my 4th baby, I was very sleep deprived and feeling overwhelmed about the task of taking care of a newborn, a monkey of a 2 year old, and keeping 5 and 6 year old boys entertained AND getting their school work done. It felt like a daunting task. In those early post partum weeks, an article in the local paper came out about this mom of 7 and how she keeps it together. My dad brought it over for me to read, and handed it to me saying, “If she can do it, you can do it.” It was sweet of him. Except I totally took it in the opposite way that he intended. I was like, “Oh my gosh, she can take care of SEVEN and I can’t handle FOUR! I’m a FAILURE!!!!!!!!!” Oh post partum hormones. I don’t miss you.

Anyway, don’t worry, I’ve got this now. 😉 Four ain’t no thang. (Just kidding, four is hard. But it’s not. But it is…)

This family was lovely to work with and I’m so glad I got to meet them before they moved away! Momma Q, you are a rockstar!!

Rainy Day Family Session {Cocoa Beach Family Photographer}

We had already cancelled once because of weather. He had ONE day off of work to get this session done. They had booked in advance. And then in rained. And rained and rained and didn’t stop for the whole session. But these guys were TROOPERS and decided to make the most of it. There’s a first time for everything, and shooting one handed while holding an umbrella with my other hand was a first for me during this shoot! But we made it happen and I’m so happy with what we got! I hope this family looks back on these with a smile! 🙂
