Project 52 – Week 5

This week’s theme is “Color”.My current color is pink. And purple. I had two boys first and spent 4 and a half years being a mom to just boys. Trains, trucks, cars, blue, blue, and more blue. Then my daughter came along and some pink was introduced into our world. But she was so content to play with her brothers’ things, so we didn’t worry about getting girly, frilly stuff for a long time. And THEN, her baby sister arrived 6 months ago. We acquired more pink and more purple and embraced the flowers and baby dolls. (Still haven’t embraced the princess crowns but I’m sure we’ll get there.) Now that my two boys are in school for several hours a day, I am fully in girl world at home, with my two sweets. My older daughter likes for me to do her hair. My youngest likes to cuddle. We watch Tangled at least weekly. We dance along with Dora on the Wii. We make up songs and sing them in fake opera voices.  I. am. loving. it.
